‘Avengers: Endgame’ Black Widow Costume Coming to ‘Marvel’s Avengers’ Game

Marvel’s Avengers official Twitter handle confirmed today that costumes from Avengers: Endgame and Marvel Cinematic Universe are being added to Marvel’s Avengers game. It shared that Black Widow’s Avengers: Endgame outfit would be the first one to be available at the marketplace on May 6.

The suit’s first look is quite enthralling and accurate. Though fans were also expecting Natasha’s costumes from Avengers: Infinity War, Civil War, and Iron Man too, they do look forward to the Endgame version for now.

Earlier, leaked screenshots had anticipated this move. Avengers: Endgame versions of Captain America, Hulk, Ronin, and Black Widow are all on the way. Costumes for Iron Man, Thor, and others can also be expected later at some point in the game.

The images reveal designs for cowboy Hawkeye and Hulk, Professor Hulk (in his lab coat), hologram Iron Man, Black Widow original skin, etc. These leaks were exposed after a recent update to the game.

PC users could browse through the unfinished version of these costumes, but could not equip it. The head and hair of some characters were found unchanged, but it might have been due to a bug.

Marvel’s Avengers is an epic action-packed, adventure, third-person brawler video game which was released on 14 August 2020. It was developed by Crystal Dynamics and published by Square Enix.

The game itself had mixed reviews, both positive and negative ones. While the players liked a fleshed-out single player storyline, they didn’t like the repetitive formula for combat. They liked the customized abilities of all playable characters with their good voice lines, but the cumbersome gear system was a little downside.

It recently saw a sharp decline in the number of players and it was reported that low sales led to a huge loss for the developers. The game is not available on sixty percent of the gaming platforms.

The bland design of the costumes also hadn’t received positive feedback. But now, Square Enix hopes that this innovation will induce gamers’ interest again in the game. Fans are a bit disappointed though.

Fans think that this should have been included in the game when it was initially released. Now, it might be a little too late for this addition, because they have already moved on.
