No Time To Die Prepares For September World Premiere In London

No Time To Die finally gets a world premiere that will take place in London next month.

Daniel Craig’s farewell to the 007 franchise has been delayed so many times due to the pandemic that I’ve honestly lost count. However, fans won’t have to wait much longer for the highly anticipated James Bond film.

The news was announced via the film’s official Twitter account. The premiere date has been set for September 28, 2021, and will take place at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

Craig will attend the premiere along with the film’s director Cary Joji Fukunaga and producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli.

Initially set to hit theatres in April 2020, the 25th James Bond installment will release in the U.K. just two days after the premiere on September 30.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Universal has shifted the release date for Australia to November 11. However, the U.S. date is fixed for October 8, and MGM is adamant that it won’t change.

In a recent interview with Games Radar, Craig, who has portrayed Bond since Casino Royale (2006), revealed the reason he decided to reprise the role one last time.

The actor said that he felt that it was something he needed to finish, and his version of Bond required this one last story to be told.

“I thought I probably was physically not capable of doing another. For me, it was very cut and dried that I wasn’t coming back.

We started talking about it, and I went, ‘There might be a story we need to finish here – something we started in Casino [Royale]. Something to do with Vesper [Eva Green’s character] and Spectre, and something that was connected, in a way.

It started to formulate. And I thought, ‘Here we go.’
