Oscar Isaac is Scared & Confused but Ready to Embrace Moon Knight

NBC’s Super Bowl not just brought forward an incredible halftime show but a surprise trailer of Oscar Isaac’s Disney+ series, Moon Knight.

The next Marvel series keeps many fans on their toes as it finally gives a standalone series to the vigilante, Moon Knight. Oscar Isaac plays Marc Spector and his other personality, the white-caped superhero.

With more than a month and a half to go for release, the trailer looks all spooky and gives an insight into Marc’s struggle with his personality disorder.

The Moon Knight trailer starts with Marc telling someone that distinguishing between reality and dream is becoming increasingly difficult.

Marc goes through multiple emotions such as fear, anger, rage, confusion, and more till Arthur Harrow (Ethan Hawke), as a cult leader, encourages him to “embrace” the darkness. Soon, Marc gives in and lets the vigilante take over him.

The trailer also shows Moon Knight in action donning his full-body suit flying towards officers shooting at him and a high jump across building roofs.

What has most viewers excited is Oscar Isaac’s portrayal of the superhero. The actor, who played Duke Leto Atreides I in Dune, completely transforms himself and looks nothing even remotely similar to him.

Moon Knight’s brutality will be another major point of attraction for fans – one that co-writer Kevin Feige recently teased again.

In an interview with Empire magazine, Feige explained that they’re not going to “pull back” in how loud, brutal or violent the vigilante is.

“There are moments [in the series] when Moon Knight is wailing on another character, and it is loud and brutal, and the knee-jerk reaction is, ‘We’re gonna pull back on this, right?’ No. We’re not pulling back. There’s a tonal shift. This is a different thing. This is Moon Knight.

Meanwhile, the six-episode limited series (for now) will be released on March 30 exclusively on Disney+.
