We are not husband and wife anymore. We’re just business partners. And our job is to raise those kids

Love was undoubtedly lost between Marty and Wendy Byrde just a few moments after the family got entangled in a money laundering mess.

Netflix has finally confirmed a season 4 for the Emmy-winning organized crime drama Ozark for the fans who have painstakingly been waiting for the show.

At their global fan event, TUDUM, the streaming platform, confirmed Ozark 4 for 2022 and put to rest the rumors surrounding it. The upcoming season, which will also be its last, is confirmed to have two parts.

The official first look released by Netflix for season 4 picks up right where season 3 left off – the shocking death of Helen Pierce at Omar Navarro’s mansion. While we don’t see the death happen again (thankfully), we do see the couple wiping off the blood on them.

The clip starts with an aerial view of a fiesta outside Navarro’s mansion and celebratory music. We then see the inside of the mansion, and it’s a complete 360 turn.

Shocked, Marty and Wendy are washing off the blood on their clothes and hair in a sink. Wendy is somehow more terrified and almost feeling guilty(?) as she asks Marty to help her a bit.

The eerie teaser ends in suspense as we see a door opening sound, and the couple stop, turning their attention to the sound’s origin.

Though there are multiple theories of where the Byrde family may land up in the final season, one thing for sure is that it is their end.

Ozark season 4 is also split into two – seven episodes, making a part each. Unlike the previous three seasons, the last season is going all-out and offering 14 episodes.

Both parts will be released in 2022 on Netflix.

The exact release details haven’t been revealed as of yet. However, considering season 3 ended in March 2020 and fans have now been more than a year, we hope it releases in the first half.
