Patrick Stewart got COVID-19 Shot Before Picard Season 2

Sir Patrick Stewart announced that he had been vaccinated against Covid19 before he begins shooting for season 2 of Star Trek: Picard, the eighth series title under the Star Trek franchise.

The 80-years-old Knight took to Twitter to announce that he has gotten vaccinated. He posted a video of himself in the process of receiving the vaccine and thanked the healthcare workers and scientists for making the vaccine happen.

In the video, we can see Sir Patrick getting the vaccine shot from his car (a method implemented by the government to reduce the risk as much as possible. It was even used to test the patient for the virus in their cars instead of in the health facility).

He urged people to get vaccinated, suggesting that it is the best way to thank the healthcare workers and scientists for their hard work and sacrifice. He also asked people to keep wearing masks to reduce the spread of the virus. (The man is doing God’s work.)

Since he is now vaccinated, he is all set to begin shooting for season 2 of his series Star Trek: Picard, a sequel series that will focus mainly on his character, sometime in February.

At the age of eighty, the actor has built a legacy with his inventive and prolific performance and will continue to do so with Star Trek: Picard. Of course, apart from Sir Patrick getting vaccinated, all the other precautions against Covid19 will also be taken into consideration, including the use of masks and frequent rapid testing.

It is really helpful that celebrities are taking the initiative to spread awareness about the covid19 vaccine using various social media platforms. They are encouraging people and fans to get vaccinated, which is also helping to ease the doubts that people had about the vaccine.
