The voyage in crystalline waters of the Caribbean over the two decades has truly been a remarkable one. The Pirates of the Caribbean franchise has won many hearts along the way.
There was a time when pirate movies were considered a risky venture. But The Curse of the Black Pearl actually undid that curse. It introduced the nonchalant quirky Jack Sparrow, a character which would become a fan favorite for years to come.
The drunkard swanker, who just happens to be lucky most of the times, uses wit and deceit to attain his ambitions and defeat those who hold a grudge against him.
The saga consists of five movies, which were released chronologically in the theatres as well. The watch order given below is an effortless one. The latter one though, includes some interesting stuff which you will totally admire.

A sixth installment in the franchise was announced by Disney. But unfortunately, Johnny Depp won’t be reprising his role as Jack Sparrow in the upcoming film. There are rumours about Zac Efron being cast as a youthful Jack Sparrow. Even Karen Gillan and Emma Watson are expected to be cast for major roles in the film.
Additionally, Pirates of the Caribbean is soon expected to set sail again with another spinoff, which will star Margot Robbie. This film will supposedly reboot the entire franchise, but fans are not ready to sever the connection with the original movies. In fact, there is presently a 500,000-strong petition waiting to reinstate Johnny Depp as our beloved Captain Jack Sparrow.
