Mother retrieves her eyes from Marcus’ stomach and inserts them back. Now that the source of his ‘powers’ is gone, will Marcus’ followers start to lose faith in him?
Mother is furious at the Trust for going as far as to harm Paul with a biological weapon in order to get to Marcus and confronts the Trust.
When the machine tells Mother there is no antidote to Paul’s infection, she shuts it down. Upon this discovery, there is chaos at the camp and some of the people start to flee.
Mother decides to step us their leader and tries to reassure the humans that she has no interest in power and will bass the baton when another suitable leader is identified. Will Mother and Sue be able to find a way to recover Paul?

Raised By Wolves Season 2 Episode 4 Recap
Paul visits Marcus to give him a warning about the attack that the Trust is planning.
It turns out that the Trust knew that Paul would visit Marcus and planted bio-weapon in his mouse, causing him to break out in an infection. Marcus carries him outside and prays to Sol to heal him.
Campion rushes back to the Trust when he sees what they did to Paul, convinced that only Mother can help him. Decima is given orders to retrieve him. Meanwhile, Father douses the ‘being’ with the fuel blood that he won hoping it would bring it to life.
Mother works on building a control chip to place into the serpent.
When Sue asks her why she wouldn’t just kill it, Mother tells her that she couldn’t do that because Campion is too attached to it and she believes the creature could be divine and the last of its kind.
Decima disobeys her orders and lets Campion get away after he saves her from a creature that attacked her. Campion reaches the camp and tells Mother about what the Trust did to Marcus.
Vrille, under pressure from the other followers, slashes Decima’s face to punish her for disobeying orders. Decima jumps off the cliff to her death.
