This week’s episode of Reservation Dogs revolves around the women of the show. We get a small insight into Teenie, Bev, Rita, Cookie, and Natalie’s childhoods through a flashback scene. In the present, the group decides to go to the IHS conference for a fun weekend away. Rita and Teenie’s relationship is still visibly strained after Cookie’s death as is evidenced by the two of them getting into an argument. Sam and Rita’s date doesn’t go as planned.

Reservation Dogs Season 2 Episode 6 Speculation
After consuming the edibles Teenie bought, the gang has a fun reunion at the dance floor and performs the same routine they made up as kids. They reminisce about the old times and talk about how they wish they’d had more time to enjoy their youth.
However, Teenie and Rita get into an argument when the topic of Cookie comes up. It’s evident that Rita still resents Teenie for leaving after their friend’s death and that she simply had the choice to do so. Eventually, the two of them make up and spend the night watching TV.

Reservation Dogs Season 2 Episode 5 Recap
The episode starts with a flashback of Rita, Cookie, Teenie, Bev, and Natalie as kids practicing a dance routine. In the present day, Bev tries to convince Rita to attend the IHS conference. Rita is worried about leaving Bear alone during such a difficult time but eventually agrees to go.
Rita arrives at the hotel and is happy to have a weekend to herself to relax and unwind. Teenie joins the group later during one of the lectures and the friends ogle at the speaker, Sam. They’re all excited about their new “snag,” a term they have for non-committal hookups with people from the community that they’re likely to run into again.
After exploring the conference a bit, Teenie encourages Rita to talk to Sam. The two of them make small talk and decide to meet up later at the bar for drinks. Rita checks in on Bear, who decided to throw a party in his mother’s absence. Rita walks to the bar to meet Sam but turns around when she sees another woman place her hand on his.
