Archie decides to take on the cause of Pickens Park and ensure that Percival’s ancestor is not honored with a statue.
Upon Jughead’s suggestion, he decides to take on the role of the local folk hero himself as he competes for a Guinness medal for the strongest man alive.
However, their plan gets foiled when Percival uses palladium, Archie’s only weakness, in a boxing match and defeats him.
This causes Archie to no longer qualify for the medal. Cheryl is grappling with a mysterious illness that causes her to burn up.

Percival tries to distract Tabitha at the council meeting by shifting the focus to the Babylonian stealing revenue from Pop’s diner.
Tabitha and Toni both try to compete with the casino and bring back business to their own ventures. Eventually, though, they decide to work together with Veronica as she comes up with a plan through which they can support one another and keep their businesses flourishing. What kind of trick will Percival play next?
Archie ends up losing to Percival in a boxing match and it is revealed that Percival has used mind control on both Alice and Betty to uncover all of their secrets and weaknesses, including the Palladium that Archie had asked Betty to keep hidden.

Riverdale Season 6 Episode 10 Recap
Percival shows up at the Babylonian and asks Veronica if he could take up residence in one of the champagne suites.
While Veronica is initially against the idea citing how Percival tried to target her casino the minute he step foot in town, she eventually agrees as he offers to pay an entire year’s worth of rent in cash.
Percival continues to cause friction as he proposes a statue of his problematic ancestor to be put up in Pickens Park at the town council meeting.
The town members, including Archie, protest this proposal as General Pickens was a colonizer who slaughtered an entire native tribe, and putting up a statue of him would be disrespectful to the town’s history.
Meanwhile, Jughead makes a breakthrough as he researches how to resist Percival’s mind control tricks.
He explains to Archie and Betty that using an emotional anchor will help them resist the supernatural mind control that he seems to be using to dominate the entire town.
Betty discovers that Cheryl is pyrokinetic and helps her to regulate her powers so she herself doesn’t succumb to them.
