Robby Teaches Cobra Kai Students the Miyagi-Do Way in Season 4 Trailer

Cobra Kai Season 4 trailer highlights how Robby teaches Miyagi-Do karate to the Cobra Kai students. But no, it’s not to defend themselves, but rather to get under their enemies’ skins.

As teased in the previous season, Johnny and Daniel have to join hands (and dojos) in order to beat Kreese.

Already there has been a lot of bloodshed, with Miguel almost dying, Demetri getting his arm broken, Robby landing in jail, and Sam now suffering from PTSD, among other examples. They cannot let Kreese and his Cobra Kai get away with any more violence or terrorizing.

The trailer reveals that all the opposing dojos will settle the matter once and for all at the All Valley Tournament:

When Kreese points out that the “enemies” are combining their styles to beat Cobra Kai, Robby comes up with a genius solution — learning all the Miyagi-Do moves so that Cobra Kai can outsmart their opponents.

Besides this, Kreese also has another ace up his sleeve. He is bringing back Terry Silver, who was famously known to play mind games on Daniel in Karate Kid III. Daniel looks understandably shaken up by Silver’s introduction.

Silver will not be the only new character this season, as the trailer features a yet unnamed new student who is sure to be dragged into the karate feud. As per a log line, the kid gets bullied, which is why he turns to martial art.

The more lighthearted moments of the trailer/oncoming season are from Johnny and Daniel’s new alliance (and friendship, I hope).

I would’ve never imagined Johnny practicing the “wax on, wax off” — but hey, the pair trying out each other’s techniques just shows how dedicated they are to their mission.

The big, burning question is, who will win the All Valley Tournament. If it’s not Cobra Kai, will they really observe their truce? As the show has already been renewed for Season 5, we know the tournament won’t be the end game.

But let’s take one thing at a time. Cobra Kai Season 4 returns to Netflix, December 31.

When Johnny Lawrence opens the Cobra Kai dojo to teach his bullied teenage neighbor, Miguel, how to defend himself, his age-old rivalry with Daniel LaRusso is ignited once more. Will their rivalry continue to affect their present lives and those they love, or will they be able to bury the past?
