Disney+ Day 2021 announced an array of new Marvel projects, and with them, the official new logo for the Secret Invasion series was revealed.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe is expanding on old as well as new ideas. Secret Invasion will bring the Skrull from Captain America back while also introducing new characters.
The title treatment itself hints at what’s to come with the original red logo switches colors to reveal a green and maroon pattern, similar to the Skrulls’ skin color.
This is fitting for Secret Invasion’s storyline. Published in 2008, the crossover comic event featured the shapeshifting alien race, Skrull, revealing that they have been infiltrating Earth for years.
The series will be picked up from the comics. It follows Skrulls’ invasion when they pose as Avengers and other Marvel superheroes, including Elektra, Black Bolt, Hank Pym, Spider-Woman, Mockingbird, and Brother Voodoo.

A first look at Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury was also revealed which showed him without his iconic eye patch and with a grey beard instead. Fury had previously teased this look on Instagram.
Secret Invasion revolves around no one being able to trust another person because it’s just a big game of ‘Among Us,’ and anyone could be an imposter… or rather, an invader.
So is it really Fury coming back to Earth after a quick vacation in Spider-Man: No Way Home or someone else entirely?
Nick Fury First Look:
Samuel L. Jackson and Ben Mendelsohn will return to their roles as Nick Fury and Talos, respectively. Other cast members include Emilia Clarke, Olivia Colman, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Killian Scott, and Christopher McDonald.
Other Marvel titles included during 2021 Disney+ Day were – Hawkeye, Moon Knight, She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel, Echo, Ironhear, Agatha: House of Harkness, The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, X-MEN ’97, What If…? season 2, Spider-Man: Freshman Year, I Am Groot, and Marvel Zombies.
Secret Invasion is currently in production and does not have a release date yet. The series will premiere on Disney+ and will consist of six episodes in total.
