Sibeth swiftly resumes her powerful position after delivering an impassioned speech to Lucien’s army and declaring herself as their Queen. Baba and Tormada’s forces have a battle, in which Baba and his warriors take the lead.

Upon sensing his defeat, Tormada retreats and takes his bombs along with him. Haniwa uses his secret army to kill Tormada’s men, causing Trovere to realize his betrayal.

1. Episode 6 Speculation

The war is closer than ever after Tormada escapes with his bombs upon his obvious defeat against Baba and his warriors in combat. Baba, Harlan, and the rest will likely head back to Pennsa to warn Maghra of what’s to come.

Additionally, Lu, Wren, Charlotte, and the sighted children will survive as Captain Armagon and his men were killed.

Maghra will continue to prepare for the war but doesn’t know that her sister has taken the lead of the Witchfinder army and the power struggle between the two is likely to continue.

5. Episode 5 Recap

The episode opens with Lucien questioning Sibeth about her sudden reappearance. He’s hesitant to trust her as she’s betrayed them before but she blames her past decisions on Maghra.

She claims she wants to lead the Witchfinders’ army and declares herself as their Queen after delivering a grandiose speech. The speech invigorates Lucien’s army and they’re ready to follow her lead.

Meanwhile, Baba Voss and the warriors seek shelter as Tormada and his army arrive. Upon learning that his guards have been killed, Tormada asks to speak to his rivals. This conversation is simply a ruse so he can send his men to retrieve the sighted children.

A battle ensues between the two groups, with Baba Voss and his warriors easily overpowering the other group. Tormada escapes with his bombs. In a shocking twist at the end, it is revealed that Harlan was actually double-crossing Trovere.
