She-Hulk Episode 5 Ending Explained: Titania Busted and Daredevil Teased

The latest episode of She-Hulk Attorney at Law confirms that Daredevil is coming soon to the comedy-legal drama. The Episode 5 ending gave us a glimpse at the yellow-red comic-accurate suit that Matt Murdock will be donning, possibly in the upcoming episode!

At the end of Episode 4, Titania sued Jennifer Walters for misuse of a name that she had trademarked. Jennifer would obviously go to trial but representing oneself in court is, well, not incredible. So, fans had guessed the superhuman lawyer of Hell’s Kitchen would come to She-Hulk’s rescue.

But Daredevil’s cameo, teased at SDCC 2022 with a one-second shot in the trailer, did not come in Episode 5. Instead, another employee of GLK & H’s Superhuman Law Division was assigned to Jennifer Walter’s trademark case.

Mallory Book takes on the case against Titania but asks Jennifer to dress better and look more professional. Luckily, Nikki had already scoped out an Edna Mode of sorts, a costume designer for superheroes, and had booked an appointment for She-Hulk.

After much debate, Luke, the clothing facilitator for superheroes, agrees to customize suits for Jennifer that would adjust to both her bodies.

Meanwhile, the trial moves forward, and Titania’s lawyer claims that she was the only one who embraced the name of She-Hulk. He argued that Walters denied that moniker in many instances, save one interview on national television.

To counteract this statement, Jen lines up her dating app dates from the previous episode as corroborating witnesses. The witnesses strengthen her case of identifying herself as She-Hulk multiple times, even though Jennifer is still not ready to fully accept the superhero identity she accidentally gained.

Her strategy wins the case, but Jennifer Walters’ identity takes a hit when people tend to like her better as She-Hulk. Mallory Book and Jennifer bond over workplace sexism, and Book tells Jen that she deserves better than people not accepting both of her sides.

Titania and She-Hulk’s battle in court might not have been what we perceived, but well, this is a legal drama, even if it is a superhero show. Speaking of superheroes, it turns out that She-Hulk is not the only superhero getting the services of Luke for a wardrobe change.

Fans excitedly watch Luke pack Daredevil’s helmet in a box with a tag that clearly reads pickup! Get it? The pickup sign indicates that Daredevil will be coming to LA, possibly in the next episode, and we’ll finally get his much-awaited cameo.

Before Season 1 hit the halfway point with Episode 5, a mid-season sneak peek was released with Matt Murdock’s superhero and lawyer persona both making an appearance. And with this confirmation and only four more episodes left in the current season, fans can certainly expect Daredevil’s cameo on September 22.
