Thrilling New Teaser for Snowdrop Shows a Bloody Political Upheaval

JTBC has released another teaser trailer for Snowdrop starring Jung Hae-in and BLACKPINK’s Jisoo. The one-minute teaser introduces new characters and gives glimpses into the dangerous love story of the leads before turning absolutely chaotic.

The highly-anticipated and ill-fated romance of Im Soo-ho (Jung Hae-in) and Eun Young-ro (BLACKPINK’s Jisoo) is the only storyline teased so far.

With the latest teaser drop on December 4, the audience is finally introduced to new faces caught in the center of the political uproar and the couple’s love story.

The video starts with dreamy moments of Soo-ho and Young-ro in a bookstore bumping into each other. Another quick scene shows them dancing together with passionate eyes and smiles.

As the couple looks lovingly at each other when Soo-ho’s voiceover says, “If I hadn’t met you…”. Young-ro wonders the same, as her voice narrates, “If we were just ordinary people…,” before the world comes crashing down.

The very next instant, glasses shatter, and masked people load guns and stand on guard. We’re introduced to Nam Tae-il (Park Sung-woong), the security general furiously telling Young-ro’s father, about a secret North Korean mission.

“We have barely three weeks left, three weeks! We provide the money and the North will plan out everything. What’s so hard about that?”

Cut to Lee Kang-moo (Jang Seung-jo), leader of the National Security Planning Agency, walks into the Hosu Women’s University amid a raucous uproar.

We’re introduced to Pi Seung-hee (Yoon Se-ah), the dorm’s superintendent, and a bleeding surgeon Kang Chung-ya (Yoo In-na) held at gunpoint, among montages of beatings and gaggings.

Seung-hee warns the students of the grave consequences one can suffer at the hands of the agents.

The National Security Planning Agency could kill all of us to win the election. No, they could even turn this dormitory into their den.

Following some car crashing, gun wielding, and chandelier shattering, the teaser ends with Soo-ho putting a necklace around Young-ro’s neck, with the words,

Coming with me until the very end, is too dangerous.
