‘Snyder Cut’ Viewed More than ‘Wonder Woman 1984’ after Only 3 Days

Zack Snyder’s Justice League has garnered more audience demand than Wonder Woman 1984 following its release on HBO Max 3 days ago. Both DC films which came out this year were bound to compete for popularity, and it seems the people have declared their champion.

Facing multiple delays for its premiere, Wonder Woman 1984 became the first DC movie to be released on HBO Max and in theatres on the same day. Even though the decision seemed controversial at that time, it pushed the streaming network past 40 million subscribers.

Snyder Cut has also been in the making for many years. Started as a campaign by fans of the franchise after the disappointing theatrical version of the 2017 movie, it came to fruition when Warner Bros. announced that the Snyder Cut would be released in 2021. Zack Snyder’s Justice League premiered on HBO Max last week to a massive viewing and received better reviews than its previous contemporary.

The response has now blown up into a major success for the project. TV Time has reported that the Snyder Cut was the most-watched movie during the weekend of its release.

The tracking platform also noted that the movie is tracking 35% higher popularity among audiences compared to Wonder Woman 1984, within three days of its release. It is also tracking higher than Godzilla vs. Kong and Mortal Kombat, both of which are set to release on HBO Max in upcoming weeks.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League has been one of the most anticipated movies of the year and, to fans’ delight, has been blowing it out of the park since its release. Not only has it been lauded by longtime fans of the franchise, but it has also amassed a new following since the hype of its unparalleled release.

Even though Hollywood has seen many director’s cuts, Zack Snyder’s Justice League has been a rollercoaster ride due to the film’s narrative and what was actually happening behind the scenes. But, with the movie finally getting its originally planned ending, the Snyder Cut has been brought to a better completion.

About Justice League Snyder Cut

Co-produced by Warner Bros. and DC Films, Justice League Snyder Cut is the fifth film of the DC Extended Universe and based on the DC Comics superhero team. As the theatrical release, Zack Snyder’s Justice League features an ensemble cast that includes Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, and Ray Fisher.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League follows the Justice League—Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg—as they attempt to save the world from the catastrophic threat of Steppenwolf and his army of Parademons.

Although fans have asked for Snyderverse to continue Warner Bros has no such plans.
