Sony Teases Spider-Man: No Way Home Ahead Of Trailer Release Rumors

Sony repeatedly keeps on teasing fans about the upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home film. The threequel is one of the most highly anticipated superhero movies of 2021.

In a new tweet, Sony’s official account posted onset photos of Tom Holland, Zendaya, and Jacob Batalon.

The caption read

‘Just thinking about our favourite trio @SpidermanMovie #SpiderManNoWayHome’

The pictures aren’t exactly new as the same photos were posted by the official @SpidermanMovie account 14 weeks ago.

It seems like Sony is trying to create a buzz to get everyone talking before the trailer drops. Rumors that the trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home will drop soon have been trending for more than a week now.

In an interview with Variety, president of Sony, Sanford Panitch, said that “there actually is a plan” for merging Disney’s version of Spider-Man with Sony’s series of upcoming Spider-villain movies such as Kraven the Hunter, Venom: Let There Be Carnage, and Morbius.

When asked what the future holds for Spidey and Marvel Studios, Panitch said,

The great thing is we have this very excellent relationship with Kevin. There’s an incredible sandbox there to play with.

We want those MCU movies to be absolutely huge, because that’s great for us and our Marvel characters, and I think that’s the same thing on their side. But we have a great relationship. There’s lots of opportunities, I think, that are going to happen.

I think now maybe it’s getting a little more clear for people where we’re headed, and I think when No Way Home comes out, even more will be revealed.

The new Spider-Man movies will be moving to Disney+ streaming services shortly.

Spider-Man: No Way Home has had tons of rumors associated with it, with fans making theories about a multiverse that will see the return of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker.

The film is confirmed to feature Jamie Foxx and Alfred Molina from the previous franchises.

Although Tom Holland and Andrew Garfield have both denied the return of past Spider-Man actors in Far From Home, it doesn’t seem far from possible as Doctor Strange is also set to star in the film.

Originally expected to be released on July 16, it was pushed back due to pandemic-related delays. Spider-Man: No Way Home is currently set to arrive in theatres on December 17, 2021.
