Since its start, South Park creators’ ability to reference any major social event has some fans already wondering (and probably dropping some hints) what the upcoming special might include.

Some of which include the whole Whitney Way Thore and Harry Styles and his fandom’s fiasco.

Co-creator Parker carefully told THR what the movie was about – the boys trying to get back to normal. That’s it.

It’s the boys dealing with a post-COVID world. They’re just trying to get back to normal. So, it is like our show. We’re just trying to get back to normal.

South Park: Post Covid is the first of the 14 “movies” signed to be released. “Movies” because they can be as long and as short as the creators want them to be. Especially the Post Covid movie, which will also be an hour-long.

Co-creator Stone mentioned in an interview with THR that they would be releasing two made-for-TV movies each year. As the contract stays through March 2027, fans have a whole of South Park to indulge themselves in.

While Post Covid will be released on November 25 on the streaming platform, a made-for-TV movie will be released in December.

Hands down, South Park is the longest-running cable television scripted series and it has been able to come this far, all because of the series being up-to-trend with everything going on in the world.

With South Park: Post Covid premiering on Thanksgiving, November 25, we know at least our year’s end is going to be good.
