Star Wars: The Bad Batch S2 E6 Release Date, Recap, and Speculation

Star Wars: The Bad Batch is becoming more suspenseful every week. We come across the mysterious Heart of the Mountain this time and see the sad death of Phee’s droid (RIP).

However, Commander Cody, Admiral Rampart, and Tarkin have been out of action for a long time. So, next episode will be a special one featuring many of them!

Without further ado, let’s get Sherlocking!

1. Season 2, Episode 6 Synopsis/Speculation

Star Wars: The Bad Batch S2 E6 Release Date, Recap, and Speculation
Crosshair And Commander Cody

Sometimes, it is easier to predict episodes with no title than those with it. In season 2 of The Bad Batch, the names have been invitingly misleading, often forcing us to think of something completely different from what happens.

Next week’s episode is named ‘Tribe’, and as usual, the makers have maintained silence about the plot.

Something tells me that the plot will surely bring the Rampart or Crosshair fiasco into the picture. Something will get them back to our lives before the mid-season finale.

The Bad Batch will run into the Imperial officers at some point during their adventures. That’s where Crosshair will meet his former friends again.

We know that Rampart is hell-bent on killing Clone Force 99 because he doesn’t want Tarkin to see that they are alive. This hide-and-seek plot will gain more importance as the season progresses.

Also, it’s time for Commander Cody’s AWOL to end. He should join forces with the Bad Batch and fight against the Imperial Empire. That would be the perfect climax.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch S2 E6 Release Date, Recap, and Speculation
The Bad Batch

In this week’s episode, the Clone Force 99 is between missions. Omega and Wrecker roam the local junkyard when they find a mysterious artifact.

They take their findings to archaeologist Phee, who says that it contains a compass with the coordinates of a special object.

Phee takes them to a desolate planet and finds an ancient tomb. The inside of the tomb is filled with puzzles, traps, and a vicious monster that wants to kill them!

After navigating through many deadly traps, the group finally reaches the object Phee promised. It is called the Heart of Snow, and the entire tomb comes alive as soon as they pull it out.

The tomb starts attacking the group with its fire blasts and almost kills them. They figure out that the tomb won’t leave them till they keep the heart back in its place.

They finally put the heart in its place and leave the planet. This week’s episode didn’t progress the plot much, but we got to see a cool stand-alone episode, didn’t we?

6. About Star Wars: The Bad Batch

Star Wars: The Bad Batch is an American animated show created by Dave Filoni for Disney+. It is both a sequel and a spin-off of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. The series’ renewal was announced right before season 1’s two-part finale.

Dee Bradley Baker reprises his role as voice actor for all the clone troopers from the previous Star Wars animated projects. Additionally joining him are Ming-Na Wen, Stephen Stanton, Andrew Kishino and Michelle Ang.

The Bad Batch follows the elite and experimental troopers of Clone Force 99 as they find their way in a rapidly changing galaxy in the immediate aftermath of the Clone Wars. Choosing to become an independent group of mercenaries the show will see them undertake dangerous missions.
