Stargirl Season 2 Episode 11 Recap

Courtney awakens in the grayscale shadowlands where she sees the Zaricks and Bowins in the illusions. She reunites with Cindy, who attacks her, assuming she isn’t real. When Courtney starts to bleed, Cindy realizes that Courtney has also been pulled into the shadowlands.

Beth learns that Courtney is alive thanks to Dr. McNider, who had been able to make contact with Courtney in the shadowlands. Meanwhile, Jennie uses her ring to track down the Shade, since he is the only one who can help bring Courtney back. Pat and Barbara find the Shade in a theater and tell him Dr. McNider is alive and they need his help to rescue Courtney.

The Shade reluctantly agrees to help them and opens the portal to the shadowlands. Courtney refuses to leave without Cindy and with the help of McNider, rescues her as well. The Shade dies from overusing his powers.
