Arrow star Stephen Amell shares some dialogue from an upcoming episode of The Flash season 9, in which he will return as Green Arrow.
Several old characters will return in episode 9, marking a special moment for the last DC show on Earth-Prime.
Fans will be excited to see Keiynan Lonsdale’s Wally West, aka Kid Flash, making a final appearance before The Flash concludes. Also, Amell’s reprisal of the Green Arrow role will mark his comeback for the first time since Arrow season 8.
Amell recently teased his famous comeback in The Flash season 9. The star shared one of his dialogues from an episode of The Flash.
Amell’s return to the Arrowverse will be one of the most anticipated moments in The Flash. Danielle Panabaker is directing the season 9, and David Ramsey is also set to appear as John Diggle.
One of the biggest mysteries is how Oliver Queen will make a comeback in The Flash season 9. He met his demise during the Crisis on Infinite Earths when he gave up his life to bring back the multiverse.
So far, the Arrowverse has only hinted at his return through the Earth-Prime tie-in comic published in 2022.
In the last issue, Oliver appears as the Spectre before the story concludes.
Pictures of Amell dressed up as Green Arrow were released. Oliver’s Spectre powers are likely why he comes back in the living world.
However, we still don’t know why he wears his Green Arrow outfit instead of his Spectre suit. The creators may want to evoke nostalgia among the fans with this move.
Regardless of how he returns, Oliver is expected to return to the afterlife once his last mission with The Flash is completed.
It’s perfect timing for Amell’s appearance in season 9 of The Flash since the Arrowverse is ending.
The Flash is currently the only show on The CW that’s set on Earth-Prime since Superman & Lois is based in a different Earth.
So, it will be really cool if we get a teaser featuring Amell’s return in The Flash!
