After a long wait, the fourth season of Stranger Things dropped on Netflix a few weeks ago on May 27. Volume 1 had seven long episodes and Volume 2 is supposed to have just two very long episodes, together comprising the season finale.

At the end of Episode 7 of S4 Vol1, Netflix included a short teaser for Volume 2. The entire trailer was released today. Reportedly, the first episode of Volume 2 will be over 80 minutes long while the next and final episode will be over 2 and a half hours long.

Volume 1 explained Vecna’s origins and showed us Eleven struggling with her powers. Episode 7 ended with a major cliffhanger, so Volume 2 should focus on the war against Upside Down to save Hawkins.

In the trailer, Steve Harrington is seen driving a bus full of monster-hunting children, while Max Mayfield is in the Upside Down. Vecna has now been released into the actual world.

Further, the trailer includes glimpses of all the other characters preparing to fight one big war with the entire Upside Down to save Hawkins and defeat the evil powers. All of this was accompanied by a fantastic rendition of Kate Bush’s Running Up That Hill, fitting perfectly into the scenario.

Co-creator Max Duffer recently told TVLine that the final two episodes of S4 will have “a little bit of everything.”

There are only 10 days to go, and the final two episodes will surely smash several streaming records, considering the massive response to Season 4 Volume 1.
