Succession Season 4 Speculation

The Roy siblings take a major personal and professional hit due to Tom’s betrayal. However, this incident has them united against their father for the first time in the series and it’ll be interesting to see how things pan out in Season 4. They sure look stronger than ever, even if very briefly.

Will Shiv still want to have Tom’s child after what he pulled? It’s unlikely. The future of their relationship will be at stake in Season 4. Tom’s betrayal may have soiled all chances of Shiv becoming CEO, but his gesture for Logan won’t go unrewarded. Will that remain a motive for Shiv to stick it out with Tom?

Tom asks Greg to be his ‘Nero’ and join forces with him to betray his cousins. Tom and Greg are a great team but it’ll be interesting to see how their dynamic transforms as they side with Logan. Things are looking up for the both of them with Greg’s possible courtship with Contessa and Tom becoming the unlikely favorite Roy son.

Connor is the eldest Roy son but Caroline is not his mother? What’s that all about? Will he back the siblings next season or is their indifference to him lead to him joining Team Logan? At least he has a big win with Willa, or does he? What was that expression Willa hid from Connor after agreeing to the wedding proposal? Find out in the next season!

Succession Season 3 Episode 9 Recap

The episode titled “All The Bells Say” opens with the Roy family at the poolside. The siblings, except Kendall, and their partners are playing monopoly. Last week’s cliffhanger led us to believe that Kendall might’ve drowned in the pool. As it turns out, Comfry finds him and he’s rescued. The next day, the siblings hold an intervention for Kendall and tell him they’re worried about him. The intervention goes sideways when Kendall refers to himself as ‘the oldest son’ causing Connor to have an outburst.

Roman and Logan go to visit Matsson to talk about the deal. In an unpredictable turn of events, Matsson offers to buy out Waystar. On the surface level, Logan’s reaction to this is a near dismissal. However, it’s impossible for anyone to decipher what he’s really thinking. He tells Roman to head back for his mother’s wedding celebrations, and stays a little longer himself, seemingly to discuss the initial merger and asset swap.

At the wedding, they sense that something is up when their father doesn’t show up and Roman gets wind that Karl and Frank are in Europe. Shiv asks Kendall to step in and discuss the issue with them after Roman tells her Matsson proposed to buy Royco.

Shiv and Roman are trying to figure out the situation in a rushed panic. Kendall, on the other hand, breaks down in front of his siblings and tells them about the waiter’s death and how he blames himself. He tells them he’d tried his best to come up with a way to free his siblings from the toxic family business and is completely overwhelmed with guilt at his failure to overthrow Logan.

Once they get the confirmation that Logan is in fact going to sell the company, the siblings decide to team up against their father. The divorce agreement with Caroline had won the siblings the power to vote on any such deal. Kendall tells them that Logan can’t sanction this deal without a super-majority.

When the siblings confront their father, Logan is prepared. He knew they were coming and had already renegotiated his divorce settlement with Caroline, who happily sold out her kids for the cushy London apartment. Roman breaks down and begs Gerri to help them, who bluntly tells him “How does this serve my interests?” Shiv stands there on the verge of tears, trying to come to terms with the scale of Tom’s betrayal.
