One of the most agonizing aspects of TV in the US is that shows often take breaks between episodes, either to catch up on filming or to build hype for their return.

Naturally, Superman refuses to cooperate at first, but that’s until Tal-Roh threatens Clark’s family.
Reluctantly, Superman is forced to swear allegiance to his villainous half-brother, and the episode ends in jaw-dropping fashion as Superman is turned to evil.
