Superman’s Cameo in Black Adam isn’t a ‘One-Off’ Thing

According to producer Hiram Garcia, Black Adam vs. Superman is not just a ‘one-off’ thing and has been planned in a way that portrays their journey to the audience.

It is now confirmed that the new DC entry will have an extended cameo of Henry Cavill, aka Superman. With only one day left before the movie’s release, the producer had some exciting comments about the cameo in the film.

The DC flick Black Adam is the much-awaited debut of The Rock and is being hyped all over the internet. The tickets have already started selling like hotcakes. It promises entertainment to the fullest!

But the film hasn’t managed to please the critics that much, getting a rating of 54% on rotten tomatoes. This makes it one of the weakest installments of the DC Universe that features the entry of a new character.

However, a bad rating doesn’t necessarily mean that it won’t be entertaining, as the movie has been significantly praised by the selected people who have watched it pre-release.

Black Adam - Official Trailer 2

Coming back to the cameo, the producer has talked about the rivalry between Black Adam and Superman being a long-form story instead of a one-off fight.

[Quote: No, it’s about so much more than that. We really want to craft a long form of storytelling and show that these two characters exist in the same universe and are going to have to deal with each other often, either on the same or opposite sides,]

With this, he also teased about a second face-off between The Rock’s character and Superman. He talked about the fans and their desire to experience the two characters’ journey and their chemistry developing over time.

Moreover, Dwayne Johnson clearly stated from the beginning, “Black Adam and Superman will fight.”

He also said, “There’s a new era in the DC universe that’s about to begin.”

DCEU might take the Marvel path if we go by The Rock’s tweets. He wrote, “Black Adam will serve as our phase 1 of storytelling in our DC Universe”.

This conveys that the DCEU is trying to follow Marvel’s formula. Exciting times are ahead!

It seems like DC is prepared to develop that chemistry between the two protagonists, and we can already anticipate a bombastic clash in one of the future installments.

Meanwhile, Warner Bros has selected the producers and is now eyeing on a set of directors for Henry Cavill’s return to the DC franchise. Black Adam will surely keep us entertained till then!
