The new Teen Wolf movie teaser revealed that fan-favorite character, Allison Argent, who was assumed to be dead in the series, is still alive. The teaser was released at San Diego Comic-Con 2022.
Scott McCall and the Wolf Pack are back for another quest after four years of the original MTV run show that lasted six seasons. This movie will also witness the return of Jeff Davis as an executive producer and screenwriter.
The movie will feature a jump in time featuring Scott working in Los Angeles, trying to cope with his newfound life outside Beacon Hills. However, he is roped back in with a new mission.
The movie is all set a feature a cast with various fan-favorites, including Crystal Reed as Allison Argent, Holland Roden as Lydia Martin, Colton Haynes as Jackson Whittemore, Shelley Hennig as Malia Tate, Linden Ashby as Sheriff Noah Stilinski, Dylan Sprayberry as Liam Dunbar, and Tyler Hoechlin as Derek Hale.
In the minute-and-a-half long teaser, fans were given a glimpse into the first look of Teen Wolf: The Movie. Crystal Reed’s appearance in the film was previously confirmed, so it is not a surprise that she appeared in it. However, fans were curious to know how she would be incorporated into the storyline, considering her character’s death.
Allison died in Season 3 of Teen Wolf after being stabbed fatally by an Oni sword. Reed’s character was killed off as she decided to exit the series to pursue other things in her career. Now, she is all set to return as Allison and her comeback will be one of the most important plot points in the film.
The trailer does not reveal much about how Allison’s comeback was possible. However, based on the footage we saw, everyone in Beacon Hills is surprised by her return. Theories suggest that instead of a stereotypical return, Allison may be the new villain in the story.
It will be interesting to see if this central mystery in the narrative will pave the way for the upcoming spinoff, Wolf Pack or if Allison’s story will end with this revival project.
