Keaton’s Batman & Calle’s Supergirl Teased in The Flash Merch

The Justice League spinoff, The Flash, has yet to receive another trailer at any of the main events of DC Studios. But new merch at Brazil Comic Con has provided information about Michael Keaton’s return as Batman and Sasha Calle’s debut as Supergirl.

The movie, which was supposed to release sometime this year, is slated to release in theaters on June 23, 2023, and will be a major turning point in the DCU Multiverse.

The video and images shared by Twitter user Mikhail Villarreal showcase new posters and merch from the upcoming DCU film. You can view the original tweets below:

The video doesn’t disclose much, but the T-shirt’s caption sure hints at how the film could introduce the two superheroes in the 2023 film.

Michael Keaton’s Batman will return as a “retired vigilante,” and the film will highlight his life after the nights spent as the Masked Crusader. Barry’s Flash will probably recruit him and ask for help since the Multiverse seems to be at stake.

The part about two idiot kids seem to point to a fact highlighted in the first trailer released for The Flash. The 2023 movie will feature Ezra Miller’s Flash in a double role – that’s right, we’ll have two Barry Allens.

The line about “half-charged solar-powered alien” clearly signs to Sasha Calle’s Supergirl, whose powers come from the yellow sun’s radiation as opposed to the red sun on her home planet. The movie will probably introduce her as the Government’s secret, whom Barry frees at half capacity and who will slowly come to understand and use the maximum of her abilities.
