The Flash Armageddon crossover event that marked the beginning of redeemable season 8 concluded with Barry and team puzzled about whether or not to kill Eobard Thawne.
They ended up not doing it because of the superhero dilemma of not killing people no matter how evil they are – you know, the usual debate about a hero’s conscience.
It seems like the Reverse Flash won’t be returning anytime soon and Barry also got a new costume update with his iconic golden boots.
However, the superhero can’t catch his breath as some eerie things are happening with the timeline in a new promo for the upcoming episode.
The promo shows the return of Bart and Nora as the duo has sent the timeline into a flux and they need to fix it before it all goes south. A lot of time travel is surely involved that might take us back to season 1.
The clip shows the siblings meeting Eddie Thawne, who died way back in season 1 and they also visit the place where Barry was struck by lightning, looking for The Flash’s “origin point.”

Nora and Bart are desperately trying to figure out where they “messed up” and if Barry’s kids are travelling back in time to fix things, it means trouble. But what exactly they mess up remains to be seen.
It is unknown how/if this episode will connect to the overall arc of this season Rick Cosnett’s appearance as Eddie in it was supposed to be in a “flashback capacity.”
Whatever happens, fans have to wait a while as the show is currently on its winter hiatus, having finished its Armageddon crossover arc.
Here’s to forever wishing we could run as fast as Barry to skip to March 9, 2022 when the series return on The CW.
