‘The Flash’ Season 7: First Look at Jordan Fisher’s Bart Allen Revealed

The first official look from The Flash Season 7 with Jordan Fisher as Bart Allen (a.k.a Impulse) has been revealed. Developed by Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg, and Geoff Johns, the series premiered in 2014.

Since then, the Arrowverse spinoff has been consistently renewed and is currently in the middle of its seventh season.

Now, the official Twitter account of The Flash has released the first official image of Bart Allen, which sees actor Jordan Fisher don the full Impulse costume.

In it, The World’s Fastest Teenager is shown in smiles while gleefully making an air punch as he races through Central City.

Put side-by-side against a famous panel from DC Comics, viewers can compare the likenesses between both, specifically the costume, which seems identical to the original and pays direct homage to it.

Fisher himself also took to his own Twitter account to post a behind-the-scenes look at himself wearing the costume. Check out the posts below:

However, Bart Allen won’t be the only speedster appearing in the show’s upcoming 150th episode. Following some previous additional teasers from Fisher, it was later confirmed that Jessica Parker Kennedy would return to play XS.

But given the recent events of Season 7, it remains uncertain whether she’ll remain Nora West Allen or adopt a new name. Either way, fans can expect a new iteration altogether from the one wiped out in the Season 5 timeline.

In any case, she will hold on to her heroic spirit as the siblings team up with their parents to defeat Godspeed and others. Furthermore, it’ll also be fascinating to see the siblings’ dynamic.

Whatever be the case, the recent image serves as quite the tease for what fans of the show can expect from Fisher’s portrayal as a speedster. Similar to his comic book counterpart, Impulse aims to fully excel at and gleefully relish his abilities.

This will paint a stark contrast to Allen, who has come to understand the weight of his responsibilities through the years. Thus, it will be a breath of fresh air for many as Impulse’s attitude will inevitably cause trouble for the rest of the team.

But other than that, fans no doubt are hoping to see Bart and Nora in Season 8 as replacements for Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes) and Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh), who will be departing.
