The Morning Show Season 2 Episode 9 Recap
Bradley and her brother have a conversation following his outburst at her office. He apologizes and asks her to give him another chance. She drops her brother off at rehab but tells him she’ll no longer be able to see him because of the impact it’s having on her own life.
Alex has a meeting with Cory and Stella and tells them it’s probably not a good idea for her to continue the show in light of what will be revealed in Maggie Brenner’s book. She tells Cory that Maggie’s book mentions that she slept with Mitch and will probably be ‘canceled’ for it.
Alex and Laura do the Morning show because Bradley had to take the day off. They have a conversation about their past and Alex regrettably admits to having gossiped about her sexuality and private life. Cory offers to have Maggie Brenner on UBA for an interview while he’s making an appearance on a late night show to promote UBA’s streaming app.
The interview with Maggie Brenner changes the narrative towards Alex. Bradley brings up the fact that she has Alex to thank for her career and questions Maggie’s intentions for drawing so much attention to Alex and Mitch’s relationship from ten years ago. Alex tests positive for COVID-19.
