The Walking Dead S10 Extended Trailer: Negan is Still a Threat

The Walking Dead S10 Extended Trailer: Negan is Still a Threat

An extended trailer for the tenth season of The Walking Dead was just released and it promises a lot more of Negan in the upcoming episodes. The former leader of the sociopathic Saviours will stir up some trouble for Daryl (Norman Reedus), Maggie (Lauren Cohan), and Carol (Melissa McBride) in the six new episodes that will be airing from February 28th.

The trailer shows the core crew trying to rebuild themselves after the devastating war with the Whisperers, which resulted in the death of the Alpha (Samantha Morton). The war has left the survivors exposed to emotional and personal insecurities and that is what Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) will exploit.

The Commonwealth and its armored soldiers were featured in the trailer and it seems Maggie is plotting for revenge against Negan. The trailer also teases some backstory for Negan and Lucille. Incidentally, Lucille will be played by Hilarie Burton Morgan, Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s wife in real life. Mays, a new character played by Robert Patrick, will be introduced in the new episodes.

It seems like the remainder of season ten will pack a punch. The Walking Dead will have another season, which will be its final season. The creators have promised that season eleven will have a lot of Daryl and Carol. A spinoff centering on the two characters has already been planned, but with the pandemic hampering all productions, it is hard to say when the spinoff will see the light of day.

AMC has also revealed that a few Rick Grimes theatrical movies are in the pipeline.

The Walking Dead fans have a lot to look forward to in the next few months!

The first episode will premiere on February 28th, with a new episode dropping every subsequent week. All the episodes will be premiering early on the streaming platform AMC+ starting from February 25th.

About The Walking Dead

The Walking Dead is a neo-western horror drama that is based on the comic book series of the same name written by Robert Kirkman. It currently stars Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride, Lauren Cohan, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and others.

Rick Grimes, a sheriff’s deputy, wakes up from a coma to find that the world has just gone through a zombie apocalypse. He soon realizes that the world is divided into the zombies- the ‘walkers’- and a group of survivors who will do anything to survive.

The recent season, that is season 11, will adapt material from issues #175–193 of the comic book series and focuses on the group’s encounter with the Commonwealth, a large network of communities that has advanced equipment and almost fifty thousand survivors living in their different settlements.
