Leo reviews the logs that Huck gave to him and they decide to put off their escape attempt for now. The logs reveal that what happened in Omaha was a large-scale chemical attack and the empties were just a cover up. It was part of something called ‘Project V.’ Leo recognizes the logo on the logs that he remembers seeing on papers in possession of Lyla, which hints to her possible involvement in this.

Iris and Hope

The group decides to investigate who all at the CRM research facility were involved and send Huck and Felix to find out what they can from Belshaw’s lab. Iris and Hope end up having a tense discussion because of their difference in opinion about the CRM. Hope believes that there is some genuine good being done at the research facility but Iris is adamant that CRM is the enemy and that she is willing to kill for her cause.

Elton is apprehensive about their plan to burn down the CRM facility. This would mean an end to the supply of medication they were getting for Indira’s illness. Will and Dev try to sneak into the facility and Dev ends up getting shot by one of the guards.

About The Walking Dead: World Beyond

The Walking Dead: World Beyond is a spin-off series to the post-apocalyptic horror series The Walking Dead. The limited series is created by Scott M. Gimple and Matthew Negrete, who is also the showrunner for the series. 

It stars Aliyah Royale, Alexa Mansour, Hal Cumpston, Nicolas Cantu, Nico Tortorella, Annet Mahendru, Julia Ormond, Joe Holt, Natalie Gold, Jelani Alladin and Ted Sutherland portraying main characters.

The story is set a decade later after the zombie apocalypse and revolves around a group of teenagers who have grown up being sheltered from the destruction of the outside world. As the teenagers leave the comfort of their homes to save their father, some turn good guys and some turn into bad guys. 

The World Beyond season 1 premiered in October 2020 and consisted of 10 episodes. Season 2 premiered a year later on October 3, 2021 and is currently ongoing. The second and the final season of the show will also have 10 episodes.
