Kate is standing up for herself against Kevin and that could mean she will do the same with Toby soon. Toby has been awfully busy with his job even during his break and that’s bothering Kate. How long is she going to hold herself back?
Kevin’s love life continues to remain a mystery but we do realize his biggest flaws as a partner in this episode. Will he work on himself and eventually find love, or the self-destructive patterns will continue?

This Is Us Season 6 Episode 6 Recap
The episode starts with a heartwarming flashback of young Beth dancing on the beach with her father. We see another flashback from a past thanksgiving when Rebecca is dating Matt and invites him over for the meal. She notices that Miguel starts to harbor some jealousy towards Matt. But upon finding out that Miguel is bringing his own date, she gets jealous too.
In the present, Beth and Randall go to a restaurant and run into her old ballet teacher. Beth hopes to confront him, but the encounter doesn’t go as she hoped as he just invites her to drop by the studio. In another flashback, we see Kevin and Kate talk about their struggles. Kevin cheated on Sophie and Kate covers for him whenSophie asks her why he’d been acting so strange lately. When Sophie eventually finds out the truth, she’s heartbroken at the infidelity but also the fact that her best friend knew about it and didn’t tell her.
In the present, Kate gets caught in the middle again when Madison and Kevin aren’t on the same page about their Thanksgiving plans. She doesn’t appreciate being put in this position again and has a talk with her brother. Kevin later tells Madison she should spend Thanksgiving however she’d like. Kate sees a post from Sophie while scrolling through social media and apologizes for her past mistake.
Beth joins a dance conservatory and takes a special interest in one of the students who reminds her a lot of her young self. At the showcase later, Stacey falls during her performance but Beth encourages her to finish the show. After this, Beth finally confronts Vincent about abandoning her during her time of need.

This Is Us is a Dan Fogelman-created American drama television series that debuted on NBC on September 20, 2016. On October 27, 2020, the fifth season will premiere. It was announced in May 2021 that the sixth season would be the series’ final.
The tv series follows the lives of three siblings, Kevin, Kate, and Randall (nicknamed the “Big Three”), along with their parents, Jack and Rebecca Pearson. It takes place primarily in the current time and employs flashbacks to illustrate their personal past.
Most episodes feature a storyline set in the present (2016–2021) and a storyline set at a particular time in the past; even so, some episodes are set in only one time period or use multiple flashback time periods. Flashbacks frequently centre on Jack and Rebecca in 1980, both before and after the birth of their children, or on the family when the Big Three are still children or adolescents (and played by two sets of younger actors).
