Thor 4 BTS Photos Reveal Valkyrie’s New Armour and Buff Muscles

As Marvel continues its MCU makeover with Phase 4, Thor: Love and Thunder will bring some significant changes when it premieres this July.

However, it’s not just limited to character arcs and personality changes; the Asgardian superheroes are also getting new suits and costumes.

A recent behind-the-scenes photo leak revealed Tessa Thompson’s new Valkyrie suit (and her massive guns with it), and it looks like an outfit fit for a leader/warrior.

If you’re one of the fans refreshing Twitter every few days to find new updates, you might be familiar with the crew t-shirt that was leaked a few months ago. Thompson’s new selfie provides a clearer look at the exact same suit printed on the merch.

Valkyrie’s new armor is somewhat similar to Thor and Jane’s suits from the promo art of the film. It has circular metal plates similar to that of Thor’s classic look.

As Valkyrie takes over as New Asgard’s Queen, these armors seem like one of the first changes she promised she’ll be making at the end of Avengers: Endgame.

The fourth film in the Thor franchise will bring back Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, who will supposedly take over as Thor. However, the film will not have Tom Hiddleston’s God of Mischief. Instead, we’ll get Matt Damon’s Fake Loki in another extravagant stage play.

Chris Hemsworth’s Thor went away with Rocket and the Guardians in true vagabond style, but he’ll have to grab his hammer once again to fight Gorr the God Butcher, played by the shapeshifting Christian Bale.

Taika Waititi’s Thor: Love and Thunder is set to come out in theatres on July 8, 2022.

About Thor: Love and Thunder

Thor: Love and Thunder is a MCU movie and the fourth installation in the Thor series. It is directed by Ragnarok’s director, Taika Waititi, and will show Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman reprising their roles as Thor Odinson and Dr. Jane Foster.

The movie will be based on The Mighty Thor comics in which Thor Odinson loses the ability to lift Mjolnir, and Jane Foster takes on the role of Mighty Thor. After the events of Avengers: Endgame, Thor teams up with The Guardians of the Galaxy for a short time, leaving Valkyrie as the ruler of New Asgard. But Thor returns to team up with Korg, Valkyrie and Jane’s Mighty Thor to take down Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale) – before he takes out all the gods in existence.

Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson return for Watiti’s second go, while Russell Crowe and Natalie Portaman join Taika’s project for the first time. The movie is out on July 8, 2022.
