Let There Be Carnage DVD Deleted Scenes Tease Brock-Venom Bromance

If you couldn’t get enough of Venom and Brock’s bromance over the whole course of Let There Be Carnage, you’ll be happy to know that the DVD is set to feature six deleted scenes from the movie… including Venom teasing Brock about how he loves the alien symbiote!

While the movie will be on digital platforms on November 23, it will also be available to purchase in 4K Ultra-HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on December 14. Besides the six deleted scenes, these are some of the other add-ons to the set:

Let There Be Carnage DVD Deleted Scenes Tease Brock-Venom Bromance
Venom: Let There Be Carnage
  • Outtakes and Bloopers.
  • Eddie & Venom: The Odd Couple: Tom Hardy, Andy Serkis, and the team of filmmakers talk about what happens when two beings inhabit one body? Spoiler alert: A lot of chaos!
  • Sick and Twisted Cletus Kasady: Kasady is an iconic and psychotic comic book villain. Go behind the scenes to see how Woody Harrelson, director Andy Serkis, and the production team reimagined and adapted this character for the screen.
  • Concept to Carnage: A journey through how the design and animation of Carnage translated from comic book image to screen symbiotic.
  • Let There Be… Action: You too can be on set and experience the action of how Venom: Let There Be Carnage takes shape. Follow through on various stages of the movie: concept to stage, green screen to film screen, and of course, and the intense stunts.

As a little more motivation to watch the film, be it digitally or on DVD, Sony has released an extended version of the beach scene. Can you hear me happily crying out, “Yes”!? This will be one of the six deleted scenes that fans can look forward to in the DVD set.

I don’t know what’s funnier — Venom teasing Brock that he is in love with Venom or the fact that in the extended version, Venom is CGI-free and looks like an adorable 3-D character.

This is definitely not the last we will see of the dashing duo. Venom: Let There Be Carnage was a box office hit despite lukewarm critic response.

Both director Andy Serkis and Hardy have stated there might be a third Venom film, with a possible crossover with Spider-Man… I mean, after that Venom 2 mid-credit scene, how can they not?

About Venom: Let There Be Carnage

Venom: Let There Be Carnage is an upcoming American superhero film directed by Andy Serkis. A sequel to 2018’s Venom, it is based on the Marvel Character of the same name. Tom Hardy will be reprising his role as journalist Eddie Brock/ Venom and newcomer Woody Harrelson will play psychotic serial killer Cletus Kasady/ Carnage, in the second installment. Further cast includes Michelle Williams, Reid Scott, and Naomie Harris.

Venom ended with the symbiote destroying Carlton Drake, the symbiote Riot, and the Life Foundation’s spaceship. Thus  the world was saved. In a mid-credits scene, Brock was invited to interview incarcerated serial killer Cletus Kasady, who promised “carnage” when he escaped. This was Woody Harrelson’s Carnage reference.

Now, the trailer for Venom: Let There Be Carnage teased the appearance of another symbiote Toxin through his host, Patrick Mulligan.
