Walking Dead’s Spinoff “Dead City” Coming in April 2023

AMC’s most famous zombie apocalypse show, The Walking Dead, is ending in 2022 after 11 seasons. But fans will have the opportunity to see some of their favorite characters on screen even after the show.

AMC has announced many spinoffs currently in development, set to release after the show’s grand finale, probably in 2023 and onwards. One of those spinoffs, centered around Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s Negan and Lauren Cohan’s Maggie, was announced in March 2022.

At SDCC 2022, the two announced that the show will soon start production under the title “The Walking Dead: Dead City.” Along with that announcement, they also revealed that the show will release in April 2023.

The series will explore their adventures in New York and focus on how the once turbulent relationship between the two will give way to mutual trust and bonding.
