Full WandaVision Script Of Pilot Episode Available To Read Online

The full script for WandaVision’s pilot episode has been released. The miniseries followed Wanda Maximoff and Vision living a suburban sitcom life as a newlywed couple and seeing the two advance through different decades with each episode, achieving new milestones like having twins.

Now, two months since the show concluded, Deadline has confirmed that WandaVision’s full-length script for the pilot episode titled “Filmed Before a Live Studio Appearance” has been released. Written by the show’s creator Jac Schaeffer, the teleplay is in the running to be nominated for the upcoming Emmy Awards.

Deadline has uploaded the script as a part of its series “It Starts On the Page.” Fans of the series can now take a look at the dialogues, set notes, and the actual lines precisely as they were penned.

Furthermore, the script is also marked with alterations made to the document preceding filming, with the more recent ones being marked in red.

WandaVision has been hailed as one of the most unconventionally written series of the year, calling much attention to the script, which should be fun to read. Not only did it deviate from Marvel’s classic format, but it also experimented with different genres for the usual action-based franchise.

Since the movies have always relied on fight sequences to balance with the crafty dialogues, WandaVision had to excessively fall back on the latter to make up for the few action scenes, and it undoubtedly delivered on that front. The series employed television’s most confusing trope, a T.V. show within a T.V. show, keeping viewers hooked to the mystery of events occurring.

While WandaVision played out as an idyllic sitcom on top, fans were engrossed, knowing sinister forces were lurking underneath the surface. It wasn’t until after a few episodes that audiences came to know of Wanda’s actions and S.H.I.E.L.D.’s interference.

Thus the show’s unique structure can be credited for its massive success. Additionally, Disney and Marvel have also proposed a three-year contract to Schaeffer to develop more content for the MCU.
