WandaVision’s Best Episodes: Paul Bettany Reveals

Fans will have to wait till the last three episodes to see WandaVision in full glory. In an interview with ComicBook, Paul Bettany revealed that episodes seven, eight and nine are the best ones in the show. The action is concentrated in the latter half of the season as the modified reality in which Wanda is, begins to fall apart during that time.

WandaVision picks up after the monumental events of Avengers: Endgame. It will deal with Wanda and Vision’s married life in quiet suburbia called Westview until they realize that something is wrong with reality. The series will also pay tribute to the classic American sitcoms throughout television history.

Supposed to be based on the House of M comics, the show will explore Scarlet Witch’s powers to the fullest. Since it is the first production of Marvel’s Phase 4, WandaVision is going to set up many of the storylines that the MCU will explore in the future. It seems most of these storylines will appear in the last three episodes.

When asked what he thought would be the most-talked-about episodes, Bettany replied-

Oh, wow, I think probably, yeah, somewhere in the region of seven, eight, and nine is really, you start, because think about it, right, right now what’s happened is you, rather like Wanda and Vision, have found yourself dropped into a sort of idyllic 1950s black and white American suburbia and, you know, week by week. You’re gonna start hurdling through the decades of the American century and, well, much like Vision, you’re probably gonna go, ‘Something’s not right in this town, something wrong is happening in this town.’ And I think that’s gonna be really fun for the audience but I think that when you get full awareness of what the hell is going on in this place is probably somewhere in the region of seven and eight and then you need some big battles and you’re gonna get ’em.

The actor also claimed that WandaVision will have more VFX than Endgame, which is saying something for productions on the small screen. With the end of the series being hailed as a full-blown action film, we can’t wait to watch the series!
