The Wait is Over! The Flash Official Poster Teases the Multiverse!

Warner Bros. Pictures has unveiled the first official poster for The Flash, the DCEU’s big project, ahead of the release of its trailer during the Super Bowl. The film will hit theaters on June 16, 2023.

After being in development for years, The Flash solo movie starring Ezra Miller as the titular DC hero is finally nearing its release date. The movie is loosely based on DC’s Flashpoint plot and follows Barry Allen as he travels back in time to save his mother from being murdered. However, things turn out to be a little unexpected when he accidentally ends up tapping the multiverse.

The first trailer for The Flash is all set to arrive on Sunday night during the Super Bowl. Ahead of its trailer release, Warner Bros. Pictures has released the first poster for the upcoming superhero flick via The Flash’s official Twitter account. Check it out here:

The Wait is Over! The Flash Official Poster Teases the Multiverse!
The Flash poster

The poster teases the introduction of the multiverse in the DCU. It features Barry Allen standing inside Batman’s Batcave. The iconic Batwing is visible right above Barry, which makes a comeback in the DCU for the first time after Tim Burton’s Batman movies from the 1980s.

The film will feature Michael Keaton as Batman, who will be sporting the Batsuit for the first time after 1992. The Batwing and the cave are similar to the more traditional designs, as Batman & Robin and Batman Forever aren’t canons to Tim Burton’s universe.

The tagline in the poster says, “Worlds Collide”, which is the biggest hint pointing at the multiverse. The multiverse arc in The Flash will be crucial for the DCEU, before it gets replaced by the revamped DCU. The tagline also hints at Barry’s journey into the world of Batman after his time travel doesn’t go as planned.
