Maeve and Bernard arrive at the tower to complete their mission. They catch Charlotte just before she is about to ‘transcend’ and an epic fight sequence ensues between Charlotte and Maeve. In a shocking twist, both Maeve and Charlotte are shot in the head by Host William.

Chapter 8 of the Westworld Season 4 series, titled “Que Sera, Sera”, has been released on Sunday, Aug 14, 2022 at 9:00 pm PDT.

Bernard and Maeve travel to the Hoover dam, the location of the Sublime. Bernard promises Maeve that he would send her to the Sublime so she could reunite with her daughter once they save the world. Meanwhile, Teddy tells Christina that she is one of many versions of Dolores.

Christina drowns herself to test the extent of her abilities.

Charlotte informs the most recent version of Caleb that she plans to shut down the cities later that night and put away the humans. She also plans to use Caleb as bait to draw the Outliers into the city. From the control room, she sends an encrypted message telling all the hosts that the time has come for them to ‘transcend.’

Host William wakes up human William and tells him about Charlotte’s plans. William convinces his host self that they are a fundamentally destructive species. Host William stabs the human version of himself. Christina awakens and uses her powers to evacuate the building and get the writers to destroy the storyline.

In all the chaos, Caleb is set free and he is later rescued by Stubbs and Frankie. Initially, he can’t believe that the real Frankie is in front of him but after she reminds him of the pet name he had for her in her childhood, the two of them have a heartfelt reunion.
