Aaron Paul Promises Westworld Season 4 Will Go Big with Its Storyline

After numerous Covid-related delays, HBO’s Westworld is headed towards Season 4, and star Aaron Paul, who portrays Caleb Nichols in the sci-fi series, has promised a bigger storyline in the upcoming season.

While talking to THR for his new sci-fi dark comedy, Dual, Paul talked about Westworld’s upcoming season.

When asked whether Westworld co-creators Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy gave him a hard time to get the perfect fourth season, the actor answered,

“Oh my god… I can’t wait for people to see what this season is all about. They always go so much bigger as the seasons go on. Yeah, they definitely put me through it. That is certain. But it was done in a beautiful way, and I loved doing it.”

Paul plays Caleb Nichols, a former soldier-turned-criminal who became a central character last season. Although production on the upcoming season wrapped up in December, HBO has been relatively quiet about it.

Paul’s statement is in line with what Joy had stated in August, hinting at a much bigger and expanded story with new worlds. This hints at a rebuilt Delos robot park or Roman World and Medieval World from the original movie.

Charlotte and Caleb are also expected to have their first encounter in the new season. Shogun world theme park and an exotic jungle world have been introduced before, and fans are expecting more outlier worlds to be explored.

Westworld Season 4 does not have a release date yet, but according to speculations, it will most likely debut sometime in summer.

Westworld Seasons 1-3 are currently available for streaming on HBO Max, Hulu, and Amazon Prime Video.
