You Season 4 Part 2 Release Date: When does “You” come back?

Netflix’s most popular thriller series “You” finally returns this week with the release of Season 4 Part 1.

Although we sadly won’t see Victoria Pedretti reprise her fan-favorite role as Love Quinn, we will get to see Penn Badgley back at it again as Joe Goldberg. Joe Goldberg returns this time with a new identity.

In a statement to Deadline, Sera Gamble and Greg Berlanti were happy about the news.

“It’s been exciting to see Penn Badgley bring Joe to life in a way that is both creepy and interesting. We’re very thankful that Netflix has given You so much support and that people all over the world have enjoyed watching Joe do everything wrong over the past three seasons,” said Gamble. “The whole You team is excited to explore new, dark sides of love in season 4.”

People might be wondering when Season 4 Part 2 will be released. Let’s dive into the details and clear all the doubts.

1. When will the You Season 4 Part 2 be released?

“You” Season 4 Part 1 debuts this Thursday, February 9, and fans can expect the first five episodes of the season to be released. The good news is we won’t have to wait a long time to get the rest.

As confirmed by Netflix, “You” Season 4 Part 2 comes out exactly one month later on Thursday, March 9. Mark your calendars, because you’ll be on the edge of your seat waiting for more once you are done with Part 1.

Joe Goldberg is now Professor Jonathan Moore and lives in London. Although he seems to have put his “extracurricular activities” on the back burner in favor of the school, Marianne is still on his mind. She is in the clip with the rest of the new students, aristocrats, and possible future victims of this season.

Most importantly, Joe will be stalked this time because someone from his past (or someone new maybe?) will threaten to tell everyone about his crimes.

2. What might happen in the Season 4 of “You”?

You” is known for its jaw-dropping, unbelievable, and often improbable twists and turns. So, trying to guess what will happen in London in Season 4 is a waste of time. (But it seems likely that Joe is going to kill someone.)

The end of Season 3 is something we still think about. Joe fakes his death at the hands of his wife Love Quinn and then kills her. He leaves his son Henry on the doorstep to be adopted by much better people and ultimately runs away to Paris to find Marianne.

Badgley said the following in an interview:

Things could be very different next season. I’m not sure, but I think it might be more about how Joe feels about himself. Because this show isn’t really about a killer, it’s about… I think it exaggerates the mistakes we all make in relationships for the sake of a good story. Like, we need to put down our swords and stop being competitive in our relationships, but that’s hard to do.

In an interview with E!, Sera Gamble talked about how Joe will also have to deal with the emotional effects of leaving Henry in the fourth season.

I think it will change who he is from now on. Even his exact plan for when and if he would come back for his son will be talked about when the writers get together.

3. Where is Season 4 of “You” taking place?

Two weeks after filming started at the end of March 2021, Netflix revealed which European city Joe will move to. Instead of the City of Love, which was hinted at the end of Season 3, Season 4 will take place in London.

The streamer subtly hinted at this by posting a list of books that included Charles Dickens and Sherlock Holmes. The mysterious Instagram post says, “Joe is back for more bloody fun. If his choice of the book tells us anything, our boy may no longer be in Paris.”

It’s time for the fans to binge Season 4 part 1 of the show and patiently wait for part 2 to arrive in the next month.
