Masters of the Universe: Revelation Part 2 just got a new poster and a release date.
Netflix made the announcement regarding the second half of the animated series, which will pick up where Part 1 left off and see the heroes of Eternia teaming up to stop Skeletor.
Masters of the Universe: Revelation Part 2 will premiere on Netflix on November 23. It will consist of five episodes with a runtime of 30 minutes each.
Created by Kevin Smith, Masters of the Universe: Revelation brought back the 80s Mattel Television characters and was surprisingly well-received by fans of the original cartoon.
Part 1 of the series dropped on Netflix in July and ended with a big cliffhanger.
The finale ended with Skeletor impaling Adam before he can transform into He-Man as he leaves him to bleed to death. Skeletor then becomes Skele-God as he now owns the Sword of Power.
However, while speaking to Variety, Rob David, vice president of content creative at Mattel Television, assured fans that Adam’s story is far from over,
A lot of Part 2 is a world in which Skeletor has the power — then we get to say, ‘Well, what made Adam special? What does it mean to have the power? What made Adam the person who was most worthy to be He-Man?’ I will tell you this: Adam’s story is not done and will never be done. Not saying what happens to him, but I’m just saying the stories continue.
