Guide To Watching The Suicide Squad: Release And Where To Stream

The Suicide Squad’s trailer promised a bunch of funny and witty supervillains signing up for a suicide mission (‘cause why not!) and taking down bad guys while they hit us with sassy one-liners. So when’s it releasing, and how can you watch it?

Suicide Squad’s sequel has a bunch of new faces greeting us with the nastiest smiles (My favorite’s King Shark!) and doing what they do best – wreak havoc! As much as I missed Will Smith from the original one, the new batch doesn’t look bad at all! With John Cena as The Peacemaker and Idris Elba as Bloodsport, I think I’m digging this squad.

Oh, and no, I’ve not forgotten Harley Quinn! ‘Cause Suicide Squad just wouldn’t be the same without her, and I can’t wait to see her bring that eccentricity and madness to the screen!

I know you’ve all been waiting for this sequel for too long, so here’s a quick guide on its release date and where you can watch it.

The Suicide Squad releases on 5th August on the HBO Max streaming platform and in theatres. The film’s about Colonel Rick and his Suicide Squad going to an island Corlo Maltese on a mission to hunt yet another big bad guy!

The film releasing on 5th August is coming to the nearest theatres and on the HBO Max platform. If you’re a fan of the big screen experience, then the theatres it is! But if all you want is a bucket of popcorn or a bowl of your favorite ice cream, a couch/bed with a cozy blanket, then just power up your laptop or TV and stream it on HBO Max.

Harley Quinn

The Suicide Squad trailer begins with a rescue mission for none other than Harley Quinn. Rather odd, but she has managed to save herself yet again, proving that she is no damsel in distress. The trailer introduces new characters being briefed on a new mission by Amanda Waller, the not-so-good leader.

The trailer looks a little less intense and sassier than the previous film. I think that’s good because as much as I love the dark undertone of DC, a slight change of tonality and mood of the film could be interesting.

Every character has their own quirk, and I, a WWE fan, love John Cena as the Peacemaker – I bet he’s not that.

About the story, the team’s on something called the Project Starfish, where they have to destroy all traces of it. We then see our villain Starro who is a giant telepathic Starfish. Umm… Just when you thought it couldn’t get any more hysterical, you see this huge, blobby thing thumping through the streets.
