New Marvel Teaser Confirms The Eternals’ Home Planet Is Not Titan

Marvel Studios’ Eternals will be introducing many superheroes all at once, so keeping track of all of them can be a bit confusing if you’re not a comics fan.

To promote the film and to give sole MCU fans a bit of background knowledge on these characters, Marvel’s YouTube channel has been putting out character descriptions or ‘101’ beginner guides for each of them.

In a similar video for Sprite, it has been revealed the home planet, aka, where the team of alien superheroes originated from.

One of the text panels in the video reads, “Sprite is now more determined than ever to finish their mission and return to their home planet Olympia where she will no longer be treated like a child.”

In the comics, the Eternals were created on Earth, but some of them were living on Saturn’s moon, Titan, including the mad titan, Thanos. The Eternals from Earth hail from Olympia, although their ancestral home was originally the city of Titanos.

So far, other characters who have gotten their own video introductions are Sersi, Ikaris, Ajak, and Druig.

It is not yet known whether this piece of information is essential for the film’s plot or it’s just trivia for those who wish to seek extra content.

But there might be more in store when Marvel releases similar videos for Thena, Gilgamesh, Makkari, Phastos, and Kingo.

Eternals stars Richard Madden, Gemma Chan, Kumail Nanjiani, Lauren Ridloff, Brian Tyree Henry, Salma Hayek, Lia McHugh, Don Lee, Barry Keoghan, Angelina Jolie, Kit Harington, and Dan Stevens.

Directed by Chloé Zhao, Eternals releases in theatres on November 5.
