SPOILERS AHEAD! This page contains spoilers from See.

Jason Momoa’s See is an engaging tale of people living in a dystopian world without having the ability to see. Not only has it been lauded for its innovative battle and fight sequences but also for its hight action-drama story.

Considering, that the show also blends elements of period drama, wars, and kingdoms, there are bound to be deaths in the series. So, here’s a list of all significant deaths in See.

The most significant deaths in See are Baba Voss, Harlan, Paris, along with the deaths of antagonists such as Edo Voss, Tormada, and Sibeth. Other characters such as Haniwa, Tamacti Jun, and General Wren have come close to dying but survived in the series.

For your ease, I’ve sorted out the character deaths according to which season we see them last. Read on:

1. Who dies in See S1?

A. Gether Bax

We see Gether Bax very early on in season 1. He was the one who betrayed the Alkenny tribe and sent a message to the Witchfinders to come and apprehend Maghra and her children. But, in the end, he is killed by Tamacti Jun after he provides information about Baba’s whereabouts.

2. Who dies in See S2?

A. Edo Voss

Edo Voss is Baba Voss’ younger brother and the General Commander of the Trivantian Kingdom. In the final episode of season 2, he faces off against Baba in a one-on-one duel after the Trivantians lose the war.

Edo Voss

Although Baba Voss swore that he’d never kill his younger brother, he has no choice and ends up piercing his upper body with his sword. Edo Voss then dies in his brother’s arms. Edo Voss was an essential part of Baba Voss’ character arc because it represented his past and what he used to be. So the introduction and demise of Edo Voss are significant moments in the show.

B. Paris

Paris is a Presage and one of the wisest people of the Alkenny tribe. One would also argue that she was why Kofun and Haniwa learned to read and write. In fact, she has always been a well-wisher and protector of Baba and his family.

In a shocking turn of events, the character is murdered in cold blood by former Queen Sibeth Kane. When Sibeth is in the underground chambers crying out loud, Paris decides to check up on her, considering she’s pregnant.

Sibeth then lures Paris into her conversation, via which she was trying to gain sympathy, and when she gets the chance slits Paris’ throat with a hidden weapon. It was a painful end to such a profound character.

C. Jerlamarel

Jerlamarel and his new world have been one of the show’s biggest mysteries in season 1. At the end of this, we realize that although Jermarel wants to build a world for the sighted people, he is cruel at heart and doesn’t want to be inclusive of the non-sighted people.

Furthermore, he gives away his child, Haniwa, to General Edo Voss because the latter wants to lure Baba Voss. However, the former simply considers this a small sacrifice for the larger plan.

This enrages Baba, and he decides to barge into his home and kill him. However, he decides to teach the man a lesson and destroys his eyesight, but keeps him alive.

Later, when he meets General Edo Voss, Edo realizes that Jerlamarel can’t see anymore and kills him. Although he wasn’t an enemy, he despised how Jerlamarel was arrogant about his gift and left no chance to prove his superiority to Edo and his soldiers.

D. Boots

Boots was another character who seemed good but, in the end, betrayed the only person who was kind to him. To begin with, he locks up Haniwa, Kofun, Baba, and Paris in an underground cave.

Later we find out that this was because Maghra instructed him to do so. However, in the following few scenes, he betrays Maghra and sides with Sibeth Kane, leading to Tamacti Jun’s demise. At least, that’s what we think until we see Tamacti locked in the Trivantian prison.

Boots later sleeps with Sibeth because she wants to have sighted children and rule the kingdom. However, when she suffers a miscarriage, she takes it out on Boots and kills him.

E. Kerrigan

Kerrigan was one of those characters who seemed important but was killed off too early without giving the audience the time to become invested in him. As Lord Harlan’s brother, he took up quests and assignments to help Harlan with his politics.

In season 2, the character gets killed by the Trivantians, but it was Sibeth who provided the information and got him killed. Her motive was to instigate a war between Payan and Trivantian Kingdoms, and this was just the first step toward that.

F. Toad

Toad was one of the most underrated characters from the show. After Tamacti Jun, he became the lead Witchfinder but had a very soft heart. He and Paris fell for each other, and sadly, like Paris, even he met a tragic end.

In the battle with the Trivantian army, we see him fight alongside Kofun but gets stabbed brutally while trying to protect Baba’s son. Later on, we see him lifeless in the field.

3. Who dies in See S3?

A. Bow Lion

Bow Lion was better known as Shadow Warrior as she was able to move without being detected via smell or sound. While she was initially part of the Alkenny Tribe, she later joins one of the Hidden Tribes.

In season 3’s premiere episode, she comes to visit Baba Voss and asks for his help to raise the children who became orphans due to the war. During this conversation, they are attacked by Tormada.

Bow Lion darts to Baba’s aid and puts herself in the line of fire. Sadly, she dies in the explosion caused by Tormada.

B. Olomon

Olomon’s death happens in S3 Ep 2 at the Trivantian camp. Wren goes up to him for a midnight rendezvous to convince him to get rid of the bombs. Olomon tells her that not only do the army have more bombs, but they have also held his siblings hostage. But she convinces him to run anyway.

The two try to run away together but are soon caught by the Trivantian soldiers. In the ensuing scuffle, Wren is able to escape but Olomon ends up dying.

C. Harmony

As a mere servant, Harmony is not a character of great significance but she too meets her end in S3 Ep 3. This happens after she switches loyalties to Sibeth. The former queen may have convinced her of her sob story, all with being imprisoned and mothering the allegedly sighted Wolffe.

Harmony tries to fend for Sibeth when Baba Voss confronts them. After learning that Wolffe actually can’t see, Sibeth flees the scene leaving behind Harmony to suffer Baba’s wrath.

D. Trovere

Who dies in See S3?
Trovere

The Trivantian ambassador was too cunning for her own good. Originally sent to Pennsa to retrieve Sibeth, Trovere later tries to organize a coup. In S3 Ep 4, she conspires with Tormada and Nevla, and then convinces Harlan to betray Maghra and join their side. She then oversees the murder of the Military and the People.

In Ep 5, the Trivantian launch a surprise attack on Baba Voss, his kids, and crew who are at the House of Enlightenment. However, the Trivantian soldiers are no match for them, aided by the fact that Harlan was playing double-agent and betrays Trovere.

It’s quite a tragedy that Trovere is killed by Harlan, for whom she harbored unrequited affections.

E. Harlan

In S3 Ep 6, Baba realizes that Tormada’s threat of the bombs is still at large, with Pennsa being his next target. The group have to get back to the city and warn Maghra but the safer route would take them too long.

So instead they opt for the quicker route through the Lowlands that is infested by cannibals. Here is where Haniwa gets caught, and Harlan gets fatally injured while trying to rescue her.

The group has the option of taking Harlan to a doctor to get treated, but Harlan reminds them of the risk of not reaching in time and finding Pennsa in ashes. They reluctantly agree to his wishes and trudge along their journey. While we don’t see him die on screen, it is assumed that the character is no more.

F. Tormada

Tormada has been quite a big antagonist since last season, so See wouldn’t have a semblance of a happy ending if it didn’t get rid of him.

Tormada

His fate his delivered to him by Ranger, who meets him on the battlefield. Ranger was one of the people Tormada experimented on and tortured, so this was quite poetic.

G. Sibeth

Sibeth

The show ends mirroring the way it began — exploring the complicated, emotional and misunderstood relation of the two sisters, Sibeth and Maghra. Even when Sibeth stops nothing short of bombing Pennsa to the ground, Maghra’s first response is to let go of the fight and run away.

However, Baba reminds her that as long as she’s alive, Sibeth won’t rest until she has her in captivity. This is when Maghra decides to meet her sister on the battlefield. She understands the whole situation escalated because she continued to show Sibeth mercy, in hopes of her reforming her ways. But that reformation would never come.

That’s why during a heartbreaking embrace, Maghra stabs Sibeth with her own knife. This is the sacrifice she must make in order to protect her family and her people.

H. Baba Voss

Although nothing hurts me more than to see Baba Voss go, there’s some comfort in knowing that he fought for his values till the very end.

Baba Voss

When Maghra and his family were underground debating whether or not they should run away, Baba slips back to the battlefield without informing them. I assume he goes to fight Sibeth with the intention that if his family does run, she’ll not be around to hunt them. He also knows that as long as she’s alive, Sibeth won’t give up fueling the war on sighted people.

Sadly, this means that Baba has to take on hordes of soldiers all on his own. When push comes to shove, he decides that his only way to kill the whole army is by detonating the bombs. He knows he will be caught in the explosion, but he does it anyway.

The plan works and his death brings an end to the battle. It is quite a heroic denouncement to his character.
