WWE Night of Champions: Who won between Asuka and Bianca Belair?

In a WrestleMania rematch, Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair took on an increasingly more deadly version of Asuka. Bianca Belair vs. Asuka was among the most hyped matches for the P.L.E. Night of Champions. The WWE universe loved their clash at Wrestle Mania 39. And when WWE announced another match between them, fans couldn’t stop swooning.

Fans expected a great match, and the stars didn’t disappoint them. Both Belair and Asuka delivered terrific performances and left the fan’s jaw-dropped.

Asuka ended the historic run of Bianca Belair to become the new Raw Women’s Champion.

How Did Asuka Defeat Bianca Belair?

Night of Champions saw a major title shock as the E.S.T. of WWE’s 419-day run with the gold – the longest run with a women’s championship in the modern era – ended.

Asuka won the title by defeating Bianca Belair at Night of Champions on May 27, 2023, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The Empress of Tomorrow has shown a new attitude since embracing her old killer clown persona at the 2023 Royal Rumble, and it paid off in a big way.

Asuka had The E.S.T.’s number from the start, with The Empress of Tomorrow weakening the arm of Belair with kicks. Belair answered with a moonsault and used her strength to take down Asuka with a vicious spine buster, but Asuka continued to fight.

Asuka quickly applied the Asuka Lock, but Belair wisely went for a pinning attempt for a close two.

As the WWE Official tried to get Belair away from Asuka, The Empress of Tomorrow went for a mist attack, but The E.S.T. ducked out of the way.

While on the apron, Asuka spit her devastating mist into her hand. Seconds later, Belair lifted Asuka for a K.O.D. attempt, but The Empress of Tomorrow dug her fingers into Belair, blinding The E.S.T. with the mist.

Asuka quickly followed with a savage kick and pinned Belair to win the Raw Women’s Title, snapping Belair’s record-breaking reign.

Fans couldn’t stop praising Asuka for using the tricky move to defeat Bianca Belair.

Therefore, Asuka is the current WWE Raw Women’s Champion in her third reign, and none of us are complaining.
