With just the first two episodes, WandaVision had kept millions of Marvel fans occupied with connecting the dots and deciphering the big puzzle. Every little detail that threatened to break the harmonious 50s sitcom setting of WandaVision was put to thorough analysis. The one most important detail so far has been the man speaking through the radio in Episode 2.
Who does the voice belong to? Is it from another world or another dimension? Who wants to contact Wanda and why?
1. Who Is the Man on the Radio?
In the second episode, Wanda is talking to the Westview planning committee head Dottie, with a radio kept in between the two that were playing the Beach Boys song, “Help Me, Rhonda.” As the ladies continue chatting over the song, an ominous voice disrupts the song, and the two women, to call out to Wanda. A horrified Dottie then asks Wanda, “Who are you really?”
The scene makes the biggest dent in Wanda’s picture-perfect reality. We, too, realize that something outside WandaVision’s world is trying to build contact. But after the initial shock subsides, we wanted to know who was talking over the radio and why.
After two weeks of theorizing, fans finally got to know who was the man on the radio. Episode 4 finally confirmed that the voice belonged to Marvel character Agent Woo, the F.B.I. agent from Ant-Man and the Wasp.
In Episode 4, we are taken to the events outside of Westview’s warped reality. FBI Agent Jimmy Woo and SWORD’s astrophysics expert Dr. Darcy Lewis are trying to figure out what’s going in Westview. Darcy has figured out how to decrypt the waves emanating from Westview, which are broadcast waves received by a traditional TV set.
After just watching them on the TV set and figuring out who’s in the first episode, Darcy and Jimmy try talking to Wanda in the second episode. Darcy comes up with a plan to interrupt the radios present in Westview and makes Jimmy talk into the microphone.
2. Did Disney Accidentally Reveal Radio-Man?
But long before Episode 4 confirmed any of this, fans were already figuring out who could be the man behind the radio. A slip up on Disney’s part gave away the identity of the mystery radio man.
According to an interesting observation by Games Radar’s Bradley Russel, Disney seemed to have revealed the man’s identity on the radio. Accidentally, of course.
The Episode 2 credits leaked a clue by mistake (or was put there by Disney for fans to find out). If you can move past the English credits and wait for the Spanish credits, there’s an “Agent Woo” listed as a character in the episode.
For those not in the know, Agent Woo (Randall Park) was the FBI agent who supervised Scott Lang during his house arrest in Ant-Man and the Wasp. Park is confirmed to be in the overall WandaVision cast and even seen in a recent official featurette. Woo formerly worked for SHIELD, and so might end up at SWORD.
This observation can also explain who was watching Wanda at the end of the first episode. It seems that Woo has been monitoring Wanda and also trying to reach her. Thus, Woo can be expected to feature in future installments of the show.
3. Who is Watching Wanda and Why?
With Episode 2 teasing the idea of a man watching Wanda and Vision, this much was clear that there is something unreal about their reality. This fake reality was proven to be solely a creation of Wanda’s mind in Episode 4.
Wanda was being watched by SWORD and the FBI, who were initially trying to locate the missing residents of Westview. They later find out that all the missing persons were trapped in Wanda’s warped reality. By keeping a watch on Wanda, they are trying to rescue the residents and Wanda from the freakish reality.
But while our suspicions of Wanda and Vision being under constant monitoring were also proven true, there is still a lot to be revealed about Wanda’s hyper-reality.
Despite being an FBI agent, Jimmy is working on cooperation with the space research organization, SWORD. While Episode 4 confirms that SWORD is not behind Wanda’s warped reality, the question that remains then is who is responsible for it?
Does Wanda do it all by herself, or does she have help from someone? Or is she trapped herself and being manipulated into creating the two mutant twins for some greater or evil purpose? Only later episodes can tell.

The series takes place three weeks after the events of Avengers: Endgame, Wanda Maximoff and Vision are living an idyllic suburban life in the town of Westview, New Jersey, trying to conceal their true natures. As their surroundings begin to move through different decades and they encounter various television tropes, the couple suspects that things are not as they seem.
