It seems the surprises about WandaVision is not coming to an end anytime soon. Marvel has been releasing hints and Easter eggs about the show leading up to its premiere on January 15th, but this revelation comes from Paul Bettany. The actor, who plays Vision in the show, has shared that the show will feature a mystery actor- someone that the fans will not expect at all!
WandaVision is one of Marvel’s most anticipated projects. It will kickstart Phase 4 of the MCU and also be the first tv series produced by Marvel Entertainment. While many aspects of the show are a closely-guarded secret, the cast was not one of them.
It was revealed months ago that Elisabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany were reprising their roles as Wanda and Vision. Apart from that, Kathryn Hahn was cast as Agnes, their nosy neighbor, Kat Dennings and Randall Park were returning to play Darcy Lewis and Jimmy Woo.
With all these characters, there wasn’t a lot of room for someone else. However, according to an interview of Paul Bettany to Black Girl Nerds, that there is someone on the cast whose name has not been announced yet. He also said that he has always wanted to work with the mystery actor and quite enjoyed working together on WandaVision-
“I get to work with an actor that’s going to be a surprise for everybody…I’ve been wanting to work with [this person] forever who is just unbelievable and we have some real fireworks together.“

With this announcement, fans have been speculating who it could be. It might be an existing character from the MCU, but that is improbable since Paul Bettany has been involved with the general cast since Age of Ultron. Is it a new character who will play a part in the future of Phase 4?
Fans have also suggested that the character might relate to the sitcom history of American television. Sitcoms are an essential part of WandaVision and it is quite possible that the show will bring back a beloved character from the shows from which it was inspired.
