Oscar Isaac Talks Jake Lockley and Third Moon Knight Suit for the Alter

As if fans weren’t already freaking out over Jake Lockley’s (tomb) appearance in Moon Knight, series star Oscar Isaac has teased that maybe the third personality might summon his own version of the suit.

So far, we’ve seen that Marc Spector, a former mercenary, who was saved by the Egyptian moon god Khonshu, has the original design of the avatar’s suit.

Whereas Steven Grant, a mild-mannered gift shop employee and the second personality, one with a sophisticated-pretentious British accent, was able to summon his own Mr. Knight suit.

While talking to Entertainment Tonight, when asked about whether Lockley would get a suit that reflects who he is, similar to Moon Knight and Mr. Knight, Isaac teased,

“That is very logical. It’s very possible. You’ll have to keep watching to find out.”

Although the actor held back from giving a definitive answer, this ambiguity was all that fans needed to make up theories about what Jake’s suit could look like based on the comics.

According to the comics, Lockley is a street-smart cab driver in New York, and given what the show has hinted at so far, Jake’s alter ego can easily be considered the most violent one. So, Moon Knight’s black suit is the most popular pick among fans online, as it reflects the character’s personality.

Jake Lockley Potential Suit:

Episode 4, The Tomb, had a moment of “freedom” of sorts when Arthur Harrow shot Marc’s body twice, in a way freeing his two personalities. As seen in the mind-bending psychiatric hospital sequence, Marc shakes off the sedatives and then frees Steven from his sarcophagus, signifying concurrence and harmony between the two.

However, we also saw Jake banging on the lid of his sarcophagus, only to be ignored by Marc and Steven. As neither the two nor Harrow know about the third personality, there’s a possibility he might remain suppressed/mysterious for another episode.

Of course, for Jake to manifest his suit, Marc would need to free Khonshu first. So, our best bet is that Jake’s reveal might come either at the end of Episode 5 or sometime in Episode 6, the final one.

Moon Knight Season 1 reaches its conclusion in two weeks, with the remaining episodes debuting on Wednesdays on Disney+.
