Temuera Morrison Teases Big Surprises in The Book of Boba Fett Finale

The Book of Boba Fett season finale will premiere on Disney+ on February 9. That’s more than a month away, yet Temuera Morrison is already building the hype by teasing big surprises for the finale.

This is sort of becoming a tradition with Star Wars shows as The Mandalorian season 2 had a surprise appearance by Luke Skywalker and had teased the Boba Fett series in a similar fashion.

While speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Morrison couldn’t hide his excitement and said that episode 7 would be a big event full of surprises.

Yes, full of surprises. The Book of Boba ‘full of surprises’ series,” Morrison says with a laugh. “Yeah, we’ve got some good stuff coming up. Ooh, wait till episode seven, wow!

As it so happens, just two days ago, The Sun reported that there have been rumors of Harrison Ford making a surprise cameo as Han Solo in the series finale.

Fans have also expressed their desire to see Emilia Clarke’s Qi’ra return. The series’ integral theme is about crime syndicates, and with episode 2’s Crimson Dawn hint, fans’ suspicion grows stronger.

Clarke’s character is also rumored to get her own Disney+ series. However, Lucasfilm is good at keeping secrets so, the big surprise can be about anyone as long as you let your imagination run with it.

Although Boba Fett first appeared in 1978’s Star Wars Holiday Special, followed by The Empire Strikes Back and The Return of The Jedi – the new series is the first time fans will get a deeper dive into the crime lord/bounty hunter’s story.

Morrison took on the role of Boba Fett in The Mandalorian, where his co-star Ming-Na Wen’s Fennec Shand also appeared.

In another interview with Rolling Stone , Morrison talked about how playing Boba differs from when he played his father, Jango Fett,

Well, as Jango, I didn’t know what I was doing. We shot that in Sydney in the year 2000. I just remember having so much fun, and I was shooting another kind of Australian low-budget detective story at the same time, so I couldn’t change certain things.

And so, having this opportunity to come and do Boba Fett, play the son, I just wanted to be so much better. I think with Boba, he’s got a lot more grit because he’s got a lot more hurt in him… But I wanted to do a good job. I wanted to fix up some of the things I didn’t take too seriously with Jango Fett and create a dynamic, mysterious character.
